Lexis+ AI is now Lexis+ with Protégé
LexisNexis renamed Lexis+ AI to "Lexis+ with Protégé" during 2026, folding its research-and-drafting product into the Protégé AI-assistant brand that now spans the wider LexisNexis suite. Functionally little changed: the product still grounds every answer in LexisNexis's own primary law, secondary sources, Practical Guidance and Shepard's citation validation, drawing on a corpus LexisNexis describes as 200 billion documents with more than 4 million added daily. For a firm doing heavy US citation-checking, that depth of primary-source content is genuinely hard to match.
HAQQ takes a different bet: instead of one enormous US-centred corpus, it builds jurisdiction-aware coverage across 200+ countries and answers natively in Arabic rather than through translation. A firm whose matters stay inside the US federal and state system gets more from Lexis+'s depth; a firm working across two or three legal systems, or in Arabic, gets more from HAQQ's breadth.
