    Legora vs HAQQ

Legora is a serious legal AI platform with real momentum. HAQQ matches it on the AI and adds the practice it runs inside.

    The Bottom Line

Let's be straight about this one. Legora is one of the fastest-growing legal AI companies in the world, used by around 1,500 law firms and in-house teams, with a collaborative review surface lawyers genuinely like. On the AI itself we compete, we don't dismiss it. The difference is scope: Legora stops at the AI. HAQQ puts the same class of drafting, review and research inside a matter, then manages the client, captures the time and sends the invoice, natively in Arabic and across 200+ countries.

The AI is comparable. The system isn't.

Legora is strong at collaborative document review and research. HAQQ matches that and connects it to matters, intake, time capture and billing, so AI-assisted work reaches the invoice instead of being absorbed.

You would still buy a second system

Legora has no practice management or billing, so a firm running on it still pays for Clio, Litify or similar alongside. HAQQ replaces both.

MENA-native, and priced in the open

HAQQ runs natively in Arabic with full RTL across 200+ countries, publishes its pricing, and offers on-premise deployment. Legora is enterprise-quoted and Western-market focused.

A genuinely strong AI product, backed at scale

Legora is well-funded and growing fast: a $50 million extension to its Series D in April 2026 brought the round to $600 million and valued the company at $5.6 billion post-money, with Atlassian and NVIDIA's NVentures joining as investors. Legora says it's now trusted by more than 100,000 lawyers at over 1,500 law firms and in-house teams across more than 50 markets. Its collaborative multi-document review, tabular review and workflow tooling are genuinely strong, and the feature comparison on this page reflects that: Legora rates "full" on drafting, contract review, research, multi-document analysis and risk identification, the same as HAQQ.

Where the two diverge is scope: Legora is an AI platform for lawyers, full stop. There's no matter management, billing, time tracking or client CRM anywhere in its published product list, the closest it comes is a client-facing Portal for sharing work, not a system for running a practice. A firm running Legora still runs separate practice-management software beside it, and pays for both.

    • “more than 1,500 leading law firms and in-house legal teams across over 50 markets” , checked 2026-09-03

Legora is investing in Arabic too, worth being honest about

In June 2026, Legora partnered with Al Tamimi & Company, one of the largest law firms in the Middle East, to launch an Arabic-native interface built with input from Al Tamimi's own lawyers rather than a translation of the English product. That's a real, shipped step, not a roadmap promise, and it's the kind of partnership that produces genuinely regional content.

It's also new and scoped to one partnership rather than foundational to the platform. HAQQ has answered natively in Arabic since inception, across 200+ countries, as a first-class part of the product rather than a partner-built interface layered on afterward. Legora's own published country list, last updated April 29, 2026, otherwise covers the Gulf and North Africa in full; like effectively every legal-AI vendor operating under US and EU sanctions law, it excludes Iran, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Afghanistan and North Korea, which is standard compliance rather than a MENA-specific gap.

    • “The launch of the Arabic interface is the first expression of that joint ambition” , checked 2026-09-03

    Pricing

Legora doesn't publish prices; evaluation runs through a demo request, the same as HAQQ's other legal-AI competitors on this page, and the eventual number is presumably shaped by a firm's size and the modules it needs. HAQQ publishes its prices and runs a free tier, so you can work out fit on your own documents before any sales conversation, whatever budget bracket you're in.

    Which one should you pick?

    Choose Legora

    • You need best-in-class collaborative, multi-document review for large deals or litigation, an area where Legora's tooling is genuinely strong.
    • You want a heavily-capitalised vendor, $5.6 billion valuation, backing from Atlassian and NVIDIA's NVentures, building fast at enterprise scale.
    • You're already engaged with Legora's Arabic-interface partnership with Al Tamimi & Company and want to build on that specific relationship.

    Choose HAQQ

    • You want practice management, billing and matter tracking bundled with the AI instead of a separate vendor beside it.
    • You want Arabic and jurisdiction-aware coverage across 200+ countries built into the platform from the ground up, not a partner-built interface.
    • You want to see a price before a demo call, and a free tier to test on your own documents.

    Switching from Legora

Legora doesn't hold matter records, time entries or invoices, so switching is closer to a consolidation of AI workflows than a data migration. What transfers is the working context: the documents, playbooks and review templates your team has built up inside Legora's workflow and tabular-review tools.

    1. Export the documents and templates you've loaded into Legora's workflows and tabular review.
    2. Load them into a HAQQ knowledge base scoped per matter or client.
    3. Rebuild your two or three heaviest-used Legora workflows as HAQQ workflows and test against a closed matter you already know the outcome of.
    4. Move practice management and billing across once the AI side is proven, if you were running a separate system alongside Legora.

    The verdict

Legora is a strong, well-funded AI platform for firms that need top-tier multi-document review; HAQQ suits a firm that wants AI, Arabic-native coverage and practice management in one place.

This is one of the closer comparisons on this site, because Legora's AI is genuinely competitive rather than a strawman, the difference is what sits around it. A large firm doing collaborative diligence work with practice management already solved elsewhere may reasonably prefer Legora's tooling on its own terms. A smaller firm, or one working natively in Arabic across several jurisdictions, gets more from having the AI and the practice layer built as one product from the start.

Best for: Firms of 2-50 lawyers that want AI and practice management together, and multi-jurisdiction practices working in Arabic as a first language rather than a partner-built add-on.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is Legora better than HAQQ?

For collaborative document review inside a large firm, Legora is genuinely strong and we will not claim otherwise. HAQQ competes on the same AI work and adds practice management, billing, native Arabic and 200+ country coverage, so the honest comparison is scope rather than capability.

Does Legora include practice management and billing?

No. Legora is a legal AI platform, so matters, time tracking and invoicing come from separate software. HAQQ includes all of it, which is usually the deciding factor for firms consolidating their stack.

Is Legora more affordable than HAQQ?

Legora is sold through enterprise quotes, so the real cost depends on your negotiation and on the practice management software you still need beside it. HAQQ starts free, Pro is $20.83 per user per month, and practice management is included.

Does Legora support Arabic and MENA jurisdictions?

Yes, and it's a real, shipped feature: Legora launched an Arabic-native interface with Al Tamimi & Company in June 2026, and its published country list covers the Gulf and North Africa broadly. The difference is depth and history, HAQQ has been Arabic-first across 200+ countries since inception, not as a partner-built addition.

    Is Legora bigger than HAQQ?

By funding and headline metrics, yes, Legora's Series D extension valued it at $5.6 billion and it reports over 1,500 firm customers. Company size doesn't answer which product fits your firm: Legora is an AI-only platform, and firms that want practice management bundled in still need a second vendor.

Does Legora have practice management or billing?

No. Legora is a legal AI platform, drafting, review, research and workflows, so matter tracking, time capture and invoicing come from separate software. HAQQ includes all of it.

Which countries does Legora's supported-countries list actually exclude?

As of its last update on 29 April 2026, the published list omits Iran, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Afghanistan and North Korea, treats China (including Hong Kong) as subject to extra configuration, and carves out Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia from Ukraine. Everywhere else on the list, including the rest of the Gulf and North Africa, is supported.
