Algeria's old 51/49 rule (≥51% resident-Algerian ownership) was lifted for non-strategic sectors by the 2020 Finance Law and confirmed by Investment Law 22-18 (2022), so 100% foreign ownership is now allowed in most activities; strategic sectors still require 51% local.
