Publicly traded, enterprise-proven, and genuinely long-tenured

Intapp trades on Nasdaq under ticker INTA and has been a public company since 2021. It was founded in 2002, and its own site states it serves more than 1,400 clients generating over $50,000 in annual recurring revenue each, including 97 of the Am Law 100 law firms. That is a real, verifiable enterprise track record most legal-tech vendors, including HAQQ, cannot yet claim.

Intapp says it has held SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001 certification (plus ISO 27017 and 27018 for cloud-specific and data-privacy controls) since at least 2017, audited by Schellman & Company. For a large firm's security review, that reported history carries real weight.

    • “Intapp serves over 1,400 clients generating over $50k in annual recurring revenue... 97 of the Am Law 100 law firms” , checked 2026-09-03
    • “Intapp has received ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its complete portfolio of cloud solutions” , checked 2026-09-03

Conflicts, intake and risk, not drafting or research

Intapp's product focus is conflicts checking, client intake, risk and compliance, and matter-adjacent workflow for large firms, deep, specialized tooling for a real operational problem big firms have. What Intapp's own materials don't describe is legal-drafting, contract-review or legal-research AI; that simply isn't the product category it competes in.

That makes Intapp and HAQQ a partial overlap rather than a direct swap: firms sometimes run both, using Intapp for risk and conflicts and a separate AI platform for drafting and research, because Intapp was never built to do the latter.

    No published price, demo-gated evaluation

Intapp's site displays no pricing anywhere we could find, every path leads to "Schedule a demo." That is standard for enterprise software sold to Am Law 100-scale firms, but it means a smaller firm cannot self-evaluate cost the way it can with HAQQ's published tiers.

For a firm without an existing enterprise procurement process, that gap in transparency is a practical barrier, independent of whether Intapp's product itself is a good fit.

    Which one should you pick?

    Choose Intapp

    • You are a large firm, Intapp counts 97 of the Am Law 100 among its clients, that needs deep conflicts-checking, intake and risk/compliance workflow, and has the procurement process to match.
    • You specifically need a long-tenured, publicly traded vendor (Nasdaq: INTA, founded 2002) that reports holding SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification since 2017.
    • Your priority is risk, conflicts and compliance tooling, not AI legal drafting or research, a category Intapp doesn't compete in today.
    • You're running an enterprise security review where certification history and public-company disclosure requirements matter more than published self-serve pricing.

    Choose HAQQ

    • You want native AI legal drafting, contract review and research, capabilities Intapp's own product materials don't describe.
    • You want to see pricing without scheduling a demo first.
    • You need Arabic-language support and reasoning across 200+ countries, outside Intapp's conflicts-and-risk focus.
    • You're a smaller or mid-size firm that doesn't need, or can't yet justify, an Am Law 100-scale enterprise deployment.

Complement or replace, depending on firm size

For most firms this isn't a straight rip-and-replace, because Intapp and HAQQ solve different problems. A large firm already running Intapp for conflicts and risk more often adds HAQQ for AI drafting and research than replaces Intapp outright; a smaller firm evaluating both for the first time may find HAQQ covers its risk and intake needs without a separate enterprise system.

    1. Map which of your firm's workflows actually live in Intapp today, conflicts, intake, risk, versus which are handled elsewhere.
    2. Identify the drafting, contract-review and research gaps Intapp doesn't cover, since those are the workflows HAQQ is built for.
    3. Pilot HAQQ on AI drafting and research for a subset of matters without disturbing your existing Intapp conflicts/intake process.
    4. Reassess after one quarter whether HAQQ's practice-management layer can absorb functions currently split across Intapp and other tools.

    The verdict

Intapp is a proven, publicly traded enterprise vendor for conflicts and risk at Am Law 100 scale; it doesn't compete on AI drafting or research, which is where HAQQ is built to win.

Best for: Large firms should evaluate Intapp for conflicts and risk; firms of any size wanting native AI drafting, research and multi-jurisdiction coverage should evaluate HAQQ.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is HAQQ a real alternative to Intapp for large firms?

Yes. HAQQ delivers infrastructure compliant with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 (not certified), granular permissions, full audit trails, and integrated matter/billing - the core enterprise needs Intapp covers - with native AI and faster deployment.

Does HAQQ replace Intapp's conflicts and intake module?

HAQQ offers AI-powered conflict checks, structured client intake, and matter-opening workflows. Firms migrating from Intapp typically replace those modules with HAQQ and keep risk-only firms on the legacy stack during transition.

What does HAQQ cost vs Intapp?

HAQQ Pro is $20.83/user/month with public pricing. Intapp deals typically run six-to-seven figures annually. HAQQ Enterprise is custom but starts at a documented baseline.

Is Intapp a publicly traded company?

Yes. Intapp trades on Nasdaq under the ticker INTA and has been public since 2021. It was founded in 2002 and serves over 1,400 clients generating $50k or more in annual recurring revenue each, including 97 of the Am Law 100 law firms.

Does Intapp offer legal drafting or research AI?

Based on Intapp's own public materials, no. Its product focus is conflicts checking, client intake, and risk and compliance workflow, not legal drafting, contract review or legal research, which is where HAQQ's AI is built to operate.

What security certifications does Intapp hold?

Intapp says it has held SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001 certification (plus ISO 27017 and 27018 for cloud and data-privacy controls) across its cloud portfolio since at least 2017, audited by Schellman & Company.
