Contract drafts that come out on your firm's paper
Describe the deal in plain language. HAQQ writes a full draft from your templates and clause library, fills in the parties and governing law, and opens it in an editor you can mark up and export to Word.
How does HAQQ draft a contract?
You describe the agreement, and HAQQ identifies the parties, checks your eFirm records and applies the governing law as it writes. The draft opens in the Canvas editor beside the chat, where you edit with tracked changes and export to Word or PDF. HAQQ also lists the questions the draft leaves open, and answering one rewrites that clause in place.
- Contract Drafting score, top of the published benchmark
- 47/50
- NDA Drafting score, first of 19 models tested
- 49/50

From a brief to a Word file, in four steps
This is what happens between describing the deal and sending the file. Each step shows on screen, so you can see what HAQQ used.
- 1
Describe the deal in plain language
Name the agreement, the parties, the governing law and the terms that matter. Before it writes, HAQQ identifies the parties, checks your eFirm records for the client and the matter, and searches the web for company details it needs.
- Start from a prompt, a template or the Prompt Library
- Client and matter context from eFirm
- Names, figures and defined terms kept as you gave them
- 2
Get a full draft, with the open points listed
HAQQ writes a complete, structured contract, and the document grows live in the thread. It then asks the questions a first draft leaves open, such as the forum for disputes. Answer one and that clause is revised in place.
- A full draft on your template
- Governing law applied while drafting
- Open points answered without starting over
- 3
Edit in the Canvas with tracked changes
The draft opens in the Canvas editor with the conversation still beside it. Turn on track changes and every edit is marked for you to accept or reject. Ask HAQQ to add or tighten a clause and the change arrives as a tracked edit.
- Insertions in green, deletions struck through in red
- Accept or reject each change
- Previous and next versions, saved as you type
- 4
Export to Word and file it to the matter
Download the agreement as an editable Word file or as a PDF. From Pro, Word export applies your firm letterhead from your templates, and the draft, its version and its deadline can sit with the matter in eFirm.
- Word (.docx) or PDF
- Firm letterhead from your templates
- Stored with the matter in eFirm
Drafting that follows how your firm writes
Your template, taught once
Attach the model you actually use and tell HAQQ to use it for that document type from now on. New drafts follow its format and numbering.
A clause library to start from
HAQQ ships with 70 document templates and 738 clauses, and you can build your own library from your firm's precedents.
Governing law applied as it writes
The jurisdiction shapes the draft from the first clause. DIFC clauses appear because the parties sit in the DIFC.
Context carried between documents
Draft an NDA, then a service agreement in the same thread. The parties, governing law and forum carry over.
Every version kept
Edits save on their own a moment after you stop typing. Step back through earlier versions, which open read-only.
Arabic as a drafting language
Draft directly in legal Arabic, right to left, or in English or French, and produce a bilingual contract when the deal needs one.
What teams draft with it
Your drafts stay in your workspace
Drafting runs on the same controls as the rest of HAQQ. Your templates, precedents and matter files stay inside your workspace.

Contract drafting questions
What can HAQQ draft?
Contracts and agreements, memos and opinions, client correspondence, filings and corporate documents. That includes NDAs, service and employment agreements, leases, shareholders' agreements, share and asset purchase agreements, and demand letters.
Will drafts follow my firm's templates?
Yes, once you teach it. Attach the template you use and tell HAQQ to apply it to that type of document. An administrator can apply the same standards across the firm's workspaces. HAQQ does not yet alert a lawyer when a draft departs from them.
Can I export to Word?
Yes. Free exports PDF and Starter adds text. Pro and above export Word (.docx) and PDF with your firm letterhead applied from your templates, and the Word file stays fully editable.
Does it draft in Arabic?
Yes. HAQQ drafts directly in Arabic, English and French, and can produce a bilingual contract. You can also start in one language and ask for a translation that uses the target jurisdiction's legal terminology.
Which plan includes tracked changes?
Basic drafting is on the Free plan. Pro adds track changes and redline output, and Business applies your firm's playbook automatically.
