Legal skills that run the same way on every matter
Pick a skill from an open directory of 422, run your firm's playbook against a contract, or start from a prompt template with the blanks marked. HAQQ loads the instructions and does the work in chat.
What are legal AI skills, and how do they work in HAQQ?
A skill is a folder of instructions and files for one legal task, such as reviewing an NDA or responding to a GDPR breach. HAQQ loads a skill's full instructions when your request matches it and runs it in chat, so the same checklist applies every time. Playbooks and the prompt library do the same job for your firm's own positions and templates.

From a skill to a finished output, in four steps
The first three steps are how every skill runs inside HAQQ. The fourth is the prompt library built into the chat.
- 1
Pick a skill from the open directory
The directory lists curated skills from Anthropic, OpenAI, Lawvable, Skala, Agensi and the community. Filter by domain, utility or meta-skill and by practice area, and see the price on every card.
- 422 skills, searchable
- Domain, utility and meta-skills
- Free and paid, priced on every card

HAQQ loads the context
A skill is plain files: a SKILL.md with its name, when to use it and the instructions, plus any checklists, clause banks or templates it needs. The full instructions load when your request matches, and only then.
- Plain files that install in minutes
- Loads only when the request fits
- Brings its own checklists and templates

It runs in chat
Ask in plain language and the skill executes on your document. A playbook review comes back as a clause-by-clause table of deviations and suggested redlines, which you apply or export.
- Plain-language requests
- Your playbook positions applied
- Redlines you apply or export to Word

Start from a prompt template
Search the prompt library inside HAQQ. Placeholders show whether they are filled or still empty, a summary strip walks you through each one, and the composer tells you what is stopping it from sending.
- Search the prompt library
- Placeholders marked filled or empty
- Step-by-step navigation
Reusable know-how, for one lawyer or the whole firm
An open directory
Skills hand-picked from Anthropic, OpenAI, Lawvable, Skala, Agensi and the community, for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini as well as HAQQ.
Portable by design
A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md and the files it needs. Nothing inside is tied to one model, so the same folder works in more than one assistant.
Custom playbooks
Start with a general review, or build a custom playbook with detailed rules and answers. HAQQ spots risks and adds redlines directly to your contract, in your name.
Set once for the firm
Shared playbooks keep the firm on the same positions. A managing partner can set the firm's standards once and every lawyer's output conforms.
Prompt templates
631 prompts for drafting, reviewing, research and compliance. Filter by jurisdiction, use case, practice area or complexity level.
Clauses and templates
738 real contract clauses and 70 document templates sit free on HAQQ Academy, next to the prompts and the skills.
What teams run with it
Read a skill before you run it
A skill is plain files you can open and check. It runs on the same controls as the rest of HAQQ, and your matter files stay inside your workspace.
Read about security- Every card links to where the skill is published
- Paid skills are charged by their author, never by HAQQ
- Compliant with SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001 and GDPR
- Your data is never used to train HAQQ's models
Legal skills questions
What is an Agent Skill?
A folder that holds a SKILL.md file, with a name, a description of when to use it and the instructions, plus any scripts, templates or reference documents the task needs. Anthropic created the format for Claude, and it has since become an open standard.
Are the skills free?
Many are. The directory shows free and paid skills with the price on every card. A paid skill is charged by its author on the site that lists it, never by HAQQ.
Who writes the skills?
The directory is curated from Anthropic, OpenAI, Lawvable, Skala, Agensi and the community. Each card names its author and links to where the skill is published, so you can read it before you use it.
Can we encode our firm's own playbook?
Yes. Build a custom playbook with detailed rules and answers and share it across the firm. On pricing, Business adds playbook-enforced editing and Enterprise adds custom editing rules.
Where do I find the prompt library?
Inside HAQQ chat, where you can search it and fill each template's placeholders step by step. The full library of 631 prompts is also free on HAQQ Academy, where you can filter it by jurisdiction.
