NewCode vs HAQQ

NewCode's own pitch is built around connection rather than replacement: it links into "750+ MCPs, from Outlook to iManage, Teams to OneDrive," per its own homepage, and retrieves and contextualizes information from whatever DMS, email and workflow tools a firm already runs, then drafts, reviews and analyses on top of that connected data. Its named clients include Kirkland & Ellis, DLA Piper and Reed Smith, per NewCode's own site, a genuinely strong enterprise reference list for a company this size.

HAQQ takes the opposite approach: it is the system of record for the matter, not a layer added to one. Drafting, review, research, the knowledge base, time and billing all live inside HAQQ natively, so a firm without an existing 750-integration tech stack to plug into gets the same outcome without building one first.

This is a place NewCode's public claims hold up under scrutiny. Its own trust center at trust.newcode.ai lists SOC 2 Type I, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications with downloadable reports, and states that customer data is not shared with other customers or used to train AI models. That is a real, checkable answer to the security questionnaires enterprise and public-sector buyers send. We are not aware of an equivalent public certification list for HAQQ, so a buyer whose procurement process specifically requires SOC 2 or ISO paperwork should weigh that directly.

NewCode supports "cloud or local deployment options," per its own site, which matters for firms with data-residency requirements that rule out a pure SaaS tool. What it does not do is publish pricing, there is no price page, and evaluation runs through the same enterprise sales motion as its integration partners. HAQQ publishes its prices and ships free tools usable without an account, so the "what does this cost" question does not require a call first.
