The Google Play listing for its Android app, by contrast, showed only "1K+" total downloads as of our check on 3 September 2026 — a figure very hard to reconcile with 592,110 registered lawyers. We are not asserting the larger numbers are false, only that we could not independently corroborate them, and the app-store figure we could confirm is dramatically smaller.

    A directory and Q&A forum, not a legal-reasoning engine

    LawyersBook's own description centres on an attorney-finder directory, a Q&A forum for general advice, and a basic AI research assistant for lawyers, plus a stated instant-translation feature. It is not, by its own description, a jurisdiction-aware drafting or legal-reasoning engine, and it makes no claim to enforce a specific country's law at the matter level.
