nexos.ai vs HAQQ

nexos.ai was founded by Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas, the founders of cybersecurity company Nord Security (NordVPN's parent), and is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. It launched in January 2025 and closed a Series A in September 2025, co-led by Evantic Capital and Index Ventures, with angel investors including the CEOs of Datadog, Klarna, Supercell, and Wix.

The product itself is horizontal: an AI Workspace giving access to 200+ AI models in one interface, and an AI Gateway for routing, governing, and observing AI traffic across an enterprise, with EU data residency as a named feature, a genuine differentiator from most US-based competitors in this set.

nexos.ai's own 'AI for lawyers' page describes generic legal use cases, contract search, compliance checks, drafting, built on the exact same general-purpose gateway and workspace product used for every other department. It never claims to be a legal-specific AI vendor, and it shouldn't be judged as one that's simply weaker at legal work, that was never the pitch.

nexos.ai's AI Gateway is priced pay-as-you-go at provider LLM rates plus a platform fee, with a separate Workspace tier and a custom Enterprise quote. What it doesn't build in are legal-domain safeguards, citation verification, jurisdiction-aware grounding, legal fine-tuning, because that isn't the product it's selling.
