    The short version

LawVu wins on in-house ops: intake, matters, spend, contracts. Its AI drafts and reviews contracts against your own data, which is good. But it does no legal research, ships English-only, is cloud-only, and is built for Western GC teams. HAQQ matches the ops layer and goes further: drafting, review, and jurisdiction-aware research in one engine, with native Arabic and an on-premise option.

    Research, not just ops

LawVu's AI is grounded on your own contracts and matters. It does not do case-law or statutory research. HAQQ drafts, reviews, and researches across jurisdictions inside the same matter, so the lawyer never leaves the workspace to find the law.

    Built for MENA, not retrofitted

LawVu is English-only and built for Western in-house teams. HAQQ is native Arabic and multi-jurisdiction from day one, so the AI understands the language and the law your team actually works in.

    On-premise when privilege demands it

LawVu is cloud-only on Azure. HAQQ offers an on-premise deployment, so privileged client matter never has to leave your own infrastructure.

A mature LegalOS for in-house teams

LawVu calls itself a "LegalOS", one platform spanning intake, matter management, contract lifecycle management, spend and e-billing, document and knowledge management, and reporting, built on Microsoft Azure and used by in-house legal departments ranging from a handful of lawyers up to organizations with 30,000 users across Asia-Pacific, North America, the UK, Europe, and the UAE. That breadth, combined with the ISO27001, SOC1 and SOC2 certification, independently attested GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA compliance and 99.95% uptime SLA that LawVu states it holds, is a genuine strength for a general counsel's office evaluating enterprise vendors.

HAQQ does not centrally compete on that breadth of legal-ops tooling; it is built around the legal-AI engine first, with practice management around it. A GC team whose primary need is spend control, e-billing benchmarking, and CLM at enterprise scale is being served by a category LawVu has spent years maturing.

    • “We work with organizations with just a handful of in-house lawyers up to 30,000 users, so we can certainly find the right price point for your team.” , verificato il 2026-09-22
    • “99.95% service uptime SLA” , verificato il 2026-09-22

LawVu's move onto the same MENA ground

In November 2025, LawVu launched a dedicated UAE data server specifically built for Middle East data-sovereignty requirements, aimed at government, energy, and financial-services buyers in the region. That is a genuine, dated infrastructure commitment to the same MENA market HAQQ is built around, and any firm comparing the two for a Middle East mandate should weigh it honestly rather than assume HAQQ has that ground uncontested.

What LawVu has not published is an Arabic-language interface claim, despite the new server and an active Middle East push, its site states no explicit Arabic or other non-English UI support. So the UAE server buys data residency, not necessarily a native Arabic experience for the lawyers using the product day to day; that distinction matters for a team evaluating both.

Research and language, the two remaining gaps

LawVu's embedded AI agents draft and review grounded on a customer's own contracts and matters, real and useful, but there is no case-law or statutory research capability described on its site. LawVu's own AI principles state customer data is segregated and never used to train public models, framing the AI as assistive with human oversight required, the same posture HAQQ takes.

HAQQ's answer to LawVu is not "MENA coverage nobody else has", LawVu is actively building there too, but jurisdiction-aware legal research and native Arabic language support bundled into the same engine that drafts and reviews, across 200+ countries, rather than a data-residency server layered onto an English-only product.

    Which one should you pick?

    Choose LawVu

    • You run a large in-house legal department needing mature spend/e-billing, CLM, and reporting tooling from a vendor that states ISO27001, SOC1 and SOC2 certification and independent GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA attestation.
    • You specifically need Middle East data residency today: LawVu's dedicated UAE server, launched November 2025, is a real, dated infrastructure commitment worth weighing against HAQQ's own MENA coverage before you decide.
    • You are already global across APAC, North America, the UK, and Europe and want one GC-facing operations platform rather than a legal-AI specialist plus a separate ops stack.

    Choose HAQQ

    • You need the AI itself to research case law and statutes, not only draft and review over your own contracts.
    • You need native Arabic language support for the people using the product, not just a regional data server behind an English UI.
    • You want jurisdiction-aware legal reasoning bundled with drafting and review in one engine across 200+ countries.
    • You want published, transparent pricing rather than a quote calculated per feature set, user count, and integrations after a demo.

    Switching from LawVu

LawVu centralizes intake, matters, contracts, and spend data inside its own LegalOS, so a move off it means exporting that operational history before rebuilding it elsewhere. Firms furthest along with LawVu's e-billing and CLM modules should expect the migration to take longer than a simple contact-and-document export.

    1. Export matter, contract, and spend/e-billing history from LawVu before ending the subscription.
    2. Reconcile any custom intake workflows or approval chains built in LawVu against HAQQ's equivalents.
    3. Migrate active matters and contracts first, then backfill historical records.
    4. Confirm data-residency requirements are still met once matters move, especially for Middle East mandates.

    The verdict

LawVu is a mature in-house LegalOS with a new UAE data server for MENA; HAQQ answers with jurisdiction-aware legal research and native Arabic across 200+ countries.

Best for: In-house legal departments needing enterprise compliance certification and regional data hosting alongside full legal-ops tooling.

    Domande Frequenti

Is HAQQ a replacement for LawVu?

For teams that need legal AI inside their workflow, yes. HAQQ covers matter management, intake, documents, and workflow like LawVu, then adds drafting, review, and jurisdiction-aware research in one engine.

    Does LawVu do legal research?

No. LawVu's AI is grounded on your own data for drafting and contract intelligence. It does not perform case-law or statutory research. HAQQ does both.

    Can I run either on-premise?

LawVu is cloud-only. HAQQ offers an on-premise option for firms and legal teams that cannot send privileged data to the cloud.

Has LawVu built anything specifically for the Middle East?

Yes. In November 2025, LawVu launched a dedicated UAE data server aimed at government, energy, and financial-services buyers with Middle East data-sovereignty requirements, a genuine, dated move onto the same regional ground HAQQ is built around.

    Is LawVu available in Arabic?

Not confirmed. LawVu has not published an explicit Arabic or other non-English UI claim, despite its new UAE data server and active Middle East go-to-market push.

What compliance certifications does LawVu hold?

LawVu states it is ISO27001, SOC1, and SOC2 certified, with independent attestation for GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA compliance, plus a 99.95% uptime SLA.

    Does LawVu perform legal research?

No. LawVu's AI drafts and reviews grounded on a customer's own contracts and matters; there is no case-law or statutory research capability described on its site. HAQQ includes jurisdiction-aware legal research in the same engine.
