Garfield AI vs HAQQ
Garfield is the first AI law firm a regulator ever approved. HAQQ is the platform that keeps that capability inside your own firm.
14/15 funcționalități unde HAQQ este lider
One claim type, done properly
In May 2025 the Solicitors Regulation Authority authorised Garfield.Law Ltd as the first firm allowed to deliver legal services entirely through AI. It does exactly one thing: recovering unpaid invoices up to £10,000 through the English small claims court, from a £2 polite chaser to a £7.50 letter before action, and it has already won a contested trial. That is a genuine landmark and the pricing is real. It is also a single claim type in a single jurisdiction, with no contract work, no research and nothing for a firm running matters. HAQQ covers drafting, review, research, matters and billing across jurisdictions and languages.
A whole practice, not one claim type
Garfield handles small-claims debt recovery and nothing else. HAQQ drafts and reviews contracts, researches the law and runs the matters behind them, whatever the practice area.
Regulated AI you operate yourself
Garfield's licence lets it act for the client directly. HAQQ puts the audit trail, jurisdiction enforcement and grounded citations inside your firm, so the work stays defensible under your own regulator and your own retainer.
Beyond England and Wales
Garfield is built for the English small claims court in English. HAQQ enforces jurisdiction across MENA and emerging markets and works natively in Arabic.

Întrebări frecvente
Is Garfield AI actually a regulated law firm?
Yes. The SRA approved Garfield.Law Ltd in May 2025 as the first law firm authorised to deliver legal services entirely through AI. It is a real regulatory milestone, not a marketing claim — which is precisely why firms should be thinking about owning their own AI.
What does Garfield cost?
Garfield publishes its fees openly: £2.00 for a polite chaser and £7.50 for a letter before action that follows the County Court debt protocol, with costs recoverable if you win. HAQQ also publishes its pricing, but covers the whole practice rather than one claim type.
Can Garfield do contract or advisory work?
No. Garfield is scoped to debt claims up to £10,000 in the English small claims court. It offers no contract review, legal research, matter management or billing. HAQQ covers all of those in one platform.
