    Southern Giza, Egypt - 17 October 2026

HAQQ and the Southern Giza Bar Association have signed a strategic cooperation protocol under which HAQQ becomes the Bar Association’s official technology partner in legal technology and digital transformation, in an initiative reaching more than 33,000 lawyers across the Association’s membership.

The partnership aims to support the digital transformation of legal practice, expand the adoption of artificial intelligence and digital legal solutions, and develop training, education, and legal technology awareness programs.

The protocol establishes a long-term framework for cooperation across legal technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, digital security, and professional development. This includes seminars, training programs, workshops, and specialized initiatives designed to equip lawyers with the skills and capabilities needed to keep pace with the transformation of the legal sector.

Antoine Kanaan, Co-Founder and CEO of HAQQ, said:

“The fact that this partnership reaches more than 33,000 lawyers reflects the scale of the opportunity before us to make AI and legal technology a meaningful part of lawyers’ professional infrastructure. What we are building with the Southern Giza Bar Association is not simply about providing access to technology; it is about developing an institutional model that brings together tools, training, expertise, and practical application.”

    He added:

“Egypt represents one of the largest and most important legal markets in the region, and direct cooperation with bar associations and professional institutions is a key part of our vision for the next phase. Our goal is for lawyers to be partners in this transformation and to have access to the technology and infrastructure they need to benefit from AI while maintaining professional standards and protecting data and privacy.”

Nasser Maher Awad, President of the Southern Giza Bar Association, said:

“The signing of this cooperation protocol with HAQQ is part of the Bar Association’s vision to develop the services provided to lawyers and keep pace with the digital transformation of the legal sector.”

    He added:

“The Bar Association seeks to enable our colleagues to benefit from modern technology in ways that strengthen their professional capabilities, facilitate their legal work, and help them keep pace with the rapid developments shaping the legal profession.”

Mohamed Helal, Rapporteur of the Youth Committee at the Southern Giza Bar Association, said that the cooperation protocol with HAQQ represents an important step toward enabling young lawyers to keep pace with technological developments and use artificial intelligence tools in legal research and drafting efficiently and professionally.

He added that the Youth Committee aims to translate this partnership into tangible opportunities for practical training and technological development, helping young lawyers strengthen their professional skills and adapt to the evolving requirements of the legal job market, while promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence, protecting data confidentiality, and upholding the ethical standards of the legal profession.

As the protocol enters into effect, both parties will work together to identify the Bar Association’s technical, operational, and legal priorities and requirements, and translate the agreed areas of cooperation into practical programs and initiatives that can be implemented and further developed.

This agreement marks HAQQ’s second partnership of its kind with a bar association in Egypt, following its recent agreement with the New Cairo Bar Association, which represents approximately 22,000 lawyers. Together, the two partnerships open the way for more than 55,000 lawyers to benefit from cooperation across legal technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and professional training.

Through its partnership with the Southern Giza Bar Association, HAQQ continues to develop a model for cooperation between technology companies and legal institutions, aimed at strengthening the efficiency of legal practice and preparing the region’s legal sector for the age of artificial intelligence.
